Description

Mount Zero Pink Lake Salt – 5kg

Just 50km from Mount Zero’s olive grove in Western Victoria lies a natural pink salt lake, which dries out each summer to reveal a bed of salmon-coloured crystal salt. In partnership with the Barengi Gadjin Land Council, the lake’s Traditional Owners, Mount Zero hand-harvests a small amount of salt each year, using sustainable methods that respect the land and its cultural significance.

This natural pink salt is a rich source of essential minerals, including calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulphur, iron, manganese, zinc, and copper, as well as beta-carotene, which contributes to its beautiful hue and healthful profile.

Unlike refined salts, this mineral complexity delivers a rounded, savoury depth of flavour, free from harshness—ideal for finishing and seasoning dishes of all kinds.
