This luxuriously creamy buffalo milk cheese is seasoned with a special blend of Native Australian ingredients, made exclusively for Kris Lloyd Artisan. The cheese is infused with a mild kick of heat from native pepperberry, which gently arises on the palate, adding a unique and subtle spiciness.

Our process begins with an overnight lactic set, similar to yoghurt, followed by the quick draining of the cheese. After draining, the cheese is infused with native pepperberry, lightly seasoned with salt, and left to age for about 12 days. The cheese is then hand-portioned into jars, and each jar is filled with a native ingredient spice mix and a blend of vegetable oil and Coriole Vineyards olive oil.

This rich, decadent cheese is the perfect vehicle for globally sought-after native Australian ingredients. It’s ideal for serving as the centrepiece on a cheeseboard, for dipping or spreading, or tossed through a tomato-based salad for a unique twist. It also makes a fantastic addition to dishes like patatas bravas, adding a creamy, spicy edge.
