Each 500g tray contains eight individual artichoke flowers, ready for plating or further preparation.

The unique and wonderful aspect of these artichokes is that they open up into 'flowers' when cooked, creating a beautiful, crisped blossom-like shape when pan-fried. This makes them not only visually striking but also texturally delightful, with crispy edges and a tender heart.

These Spanish artichoke flowers are made from the Blanca de Tudela variety, cultivated in Murcia, southeastern Spain. This slow-growing variety produces artichokes with dense, layered petals, forming the distinctive artichoke blossom.

Each flower is carefully trimmed and confit in oil, preserving its delicate texture and rich, nutty flavour. While they can be served straight from the tray, they are best enjoyed gently pan-seared, which enhances their natural sweetness and creates a lightly crisped surface.
