Bomba Rice DOP - 1kg
Description
Bomba Rice DOP – Arroz El Cazador
Celebrated as the King of Paella Rice, Bomba is a prized short-grain variety known for its exceptional ability to absorb up to three times its own volume in liquid while maintaining its firm, separate grain structure. This makes it ideal for paella and other traditional Spanish rice dishes, allowing it to absorb the deep, aromatic flavours of the cooking stock without becoming sticky or overcooked.
Sourced exclusively from Valencia, this DOP-certified rice is carefully selected and processed to the highest standards. Its firm texture, resistance to overcooking, and ability to carry flavour make it the definitive choice for paella purists and professional chefs alike.

About the Producer
Arroz El Cazador is a family-owned company established in 1957 in the town of Alginet, near the iconic Albufera Natural Park in Valencia—considered the birthplace of paella. From its foundation, the company has been dedicated to producing premium rice through rigorous grain selection, sourcing exclusively from the Valencian rice-growing region.
With decades of experience and continually updated facilities, Arroz El Cazador was one of the first companies to market rice under the Valencia Rice Designation of Origin (DOP) when the certification was introduced in 1998. Their strict quality standards are aligned with the regulatory framework established to protect the cultural, ecological, and gastronomic heritage of the Albufera marshlands.
Today, the company remains deeply rooted in the traditions of Valencian rice cultivation, which supports not only an ancient food culture but also the biodiversity of the Albufera wetlands, a Ramsar-listed site and one of Spain’s most important natural ecosystems.
