Vigneron is a handcrafted vine-wrapped goat’s cheese created by Woodside Cheese Wrights to showcase the vine leaves and wines from their own vineyard at Coriole in McLaren Vale. This unique cheese is carefully wrapped in specially selected vine leaves, which are then gently washed in white wine, imparting an earthy, aromatic character.

Inspired by a Brie-style recipe, Vigneron develops a silky, oozing paste as it matures, offering an exceptionally complex mouthfeel with a delicate balance of tangy, creamy, and savoury flavours. The white mould that naturally forms on the vine leaves enhances both the flavour and character of the cheese. While the leaves are edible, whether to enjoy them is a matter of personal preference.

This award-winning cheese pairs beautifully with crusty bread, fresh figs, and crisp white wines, making it an elegant addition to any cheese board.
