Vannella’s Scamorza Affumicata is a semi-soft, stretched curd cheese made from cow’s milk and lightly smoked with Aussie beechwood. This smoking process adds subtle hints of caramel to the cheese’s natural sweetness and acidity. As it continues to dry, the cheese develops a brown-tinged edible rind, which enhances its flavour. Perfect for pan-frying, offering a deliciously golden crust while maintaining a creamy interior.
