Mount Zero’s Persian Red Lentils are small, round, and richly coloured, with a slightly nutty flavour and a firm texture that holds its shape beautifully when cooked—unlike typical split red lentils.
Grown in the Wimmera region, these lentils are reminiscent of those found in Castelluccio in Umbria, Italy, and are ideal for salads, soups, and flavourful Middle Eastern or North African dishes.
