Mostarda Zucca (Pumpkin) - Ctn 6 x 120g
Description
Mostarda di Zucca (Pumpkin)
Mostarda di Frutta, or “mustard fruits”, is a traditional Northern Italian preserve, made by poaching fruit or vegetables in a mustard-infused syrup. Senga’s Mostarda di Zucca is crafted using pumpkin, resulting in a soft, mellow texture with a delicate sweetness and gentle mustard warmth.
This artisanal condiment follows traditional Mantovan methods, using seasonal, single-varietal fresh produce. Its smooth texture and balanced flavour make it an ideal pairing for cheeses, cured meats, and gourmet dishes.

About the Producer
Senga is a small, family-owned farm and producer in Marcaria, Italy, originally making Mostarda di Frutta to serve in their Agriturismo (farm restaurant). Over time, mostarda became the family’s primary focus, with much of their farm’s produce being seasonally preserved using this traditional method.
Senga’s Mostarda di Frutta is unique because:
- It follows the traditional Mantovan style, using single-varietal fresh produce
- Fruits and vegetables are grown on their farm and hand-selected at peak ripeness
- Each batch is hand-made in small quantities, following the harvest cycle
- No artificial colours, preservatives, or thickening agents are used
By maintaining these principles, Senga ensures that their mostarda reflects the deep-rooted traditions of Northern Italian gastronomy, offering exceptional quality and flavour.
